Videografix Pty Ltd ("Videografix", "Pulse", "we", "us") provides the Pulse marketing platform (the "Service") at pulse-videografix.co.za. This policy explains what information we collect from you when you use Pulse, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

When you create a Pulse account and use the Service, we collect:

• Account information: your email address, business/display name, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Brand and content information: details you provide about your business — industry, tone of voice, audience, website — used to personalize the content Pulse generates for you.
• Content you create or upload: captions, posts, images and video you generate through Pulse or upload to your media library.
• Connected social accounts: if you choose to connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok, we store the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf, and basic account/page identifiers (e.g. which Page or Company Page you've connected). We do not receive or store your social media password.
• Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor — we do not store your card details ourselves.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as login timestamps and feature usage, used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Service, including generating content and publishing posts you request to your connected social accounts.
• To send you account-related emails (welcome, billing, subscription status) and, where relevant, service updates.
• To maintain the security of your account and prevent misuse.
• To improve Pulse's features based on how the Service is used in aggregate.

3. Third-party services

Pulse relies on a small number of third-party providers to function, each of which processes limited data strictly to perform its task on our behalf:

• AI content generation providers (e.g. Anthropic, Freepik), used to generate captions and images from the prompts and brand details you provide.
• Social platforms (Meta/Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), used only when you explicitly connect an account, to publish content on your behalf under the permissions you grant.
• Email delivery provider, used to send transactional emails (welcome, billing, account notices).
• Payment processor, used to handle subscription billing securely.
• Infrastructure provider (our hosting provider), used to run and store the Service and its data.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party advertising purposes.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access tokens for connected social accounts are stored server-side and used only to perform the publishing actions you request. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent for specific processing (such as disconnecting a social account at any time from within the app). 7. Cookies

Pulse uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in securely. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children's privacy

Pulse is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
